Snitching is a way of life for this half black Italian beauty queen from the
Bronx. Free to sell drugs with the protection of the police by her side, until
Antonia "Ant" Heard soon finds out that her actions have consequences when love
by the way of Esco a drug lord from Harlem steps in the way. Choices have to be
made. A lavish lifestyle jail or love, the one thing that she has been missing.
What should she do? What would you do?
Tag your man or keep your man and run? Find out in this gripping street tale,
where no one snitches and lives to tell about it... or do they?
Iesha Brown's debut novel, hot street fiction at its finest. |

Iesha Brown was born in Mount Vernon
the only girl of four children. Seven years later her mother had
another girl. Still a baby, Iesha was sent to live with her
grandmother in the south Bronx where they lived for several years
before moving to Monterey projects on 180th and Lafontaine Ave in
the Bronx.
As a teenager Iesha wrote songs and worked with a lot of pioneers
in the rap game, such as, Jazzy Jay (Soul Sonic Force), Grand Puba,
Charlie Chase (Cold Crush Brothers), Funk Master Wizard Wiz, Romeo
JD (Boogie Boys), DNA (DNA HANK LOVE SHOW). She was in a group
called the Two Shades of Black. The two released two songs to
mediocre success. As a group they have done shows with, MCLyte,
Audio Two, Krs one, Stetsasonic, Cover Girls, Sebastian, just to
name a few.
She is currently a senior at Old Dominion University majoring in
Communications, with a minor in professional writing. She credits
her English professor Remica Bingham with giving her the idea of
starting her own publishing company.
A stone cold hustler, Iesha has promoted shows, sold clothes out
of the trunk of her car and owned a few clothing stores in
Virginia and Atlanta. She currently has a kiosk in Virginia Beach
(Bill's Flea Market) where she specializes in urban books you can
catch her out there ever day. Her goal is to overdose the
population with uplifting and entertaining literature from black
authors.
Iesha is a single mother who lives in Virginia Beach with her son.
When Iesha is not writing she is on the corners selling books.
