At the age of five Shawana Mills saw her father kill a man in cold blood.

Toni Alexander moved to California and began writing screenplays.
Quickly disillusioned by Hollywood insiders, she began turning
those screenplays into novels. And thus her first novel, Sometimes
I Forget To Breathe was born.
She still resides in California and shares her space with a
rebellious chihuahua named Pio and two noisy parakeets.
