the fax, or even the telephone, Agence France-Presse was founded to
communicate the important news of the day around the world. Today, the
archives of this legendary news service contain photographs of every major
occurrence in every country of the globe. For this new book, some 400
pictures were carefully chosen to document the epochal - and everyday -
events and issues of the past 15 years.
