Southern California, where she also obtained her master’s
degree in public administration.
She is a member of the League of Women Voters, the Delta
Sigma Theta Sorority, the University Staff Club, and the
First A.M.E. Church of Los Angeles, where she is steadfastly
musically inclined. |

Like the author's previous works this novel is in the format
of a descriptive narrative. It may be a surprise to some
yet, I welcomed the uniqueness that this written format
brings. I am impressed with the effort the author has made.
This saga carries a lot of sensibility and subtle intensity.
While reading White♥Chocolate
I wanted to be Xavier then I wanted to be Dominique.
Seriously, should this book become a movie I would like to
be casted as either guy. I really appreciated how the author
developed each character; from beginning to end I felt they
had matured from the various revelations realized. As a
person of color this novel provided a truth that I do not
read about often and that is how these young college
students appreciated the diligent work of those who came
before them. They have the mind-set that they will need to
ready themselves for an internationally competitive world
and they respect the times that their parents, grandparents,
etc endured. I am very excited about this book because I can
see that the author, Henrietta Elmore-Smith writes in a
style all her own and I am ready for the next one. |
