Devon Jackson was once a troubled young man, but he decided to turn his life around and that is when he became a born again Christian and devoted husband and father to his wife Clarisse and their three children.  However when money got tight, Devon had no choice but to go back into the drug game.

Devon did an excellent job of living his double life; that was until he was arrested and charged with the murders of two police officers. Devon knew that he could be facing the death penalty if convicted of the crimes, and with all of the evidence pointing at him, Devon’s odds of beating this case was slim to none.  So he decided to turn to the one man he hated most to help him, his younger brother, Jason “J-Rock” Michaels.

            After J-Rock quickly denied his request, he was forced into the spotlight of the case after receiving critical information regarding the case from fellow friends and by being named as the star witness in the trial by the primary investigator and bitter rival, Detective Thomas Johnson.   

From then J-Rock along with his best friend Mo, followed the clues and went on a whirlwind adventure of mystery, suspense, romance, and surprises as they attempted to unravel the tangle web of lies and deceit in order to find out if indeed his brother was indeed innocent of these accusations.  And when the smoke clears, the answer to who murdered the two police officers and why will surprise everyone, especially J-Rock.

Terry Donnell McLennan was born on July 16, 1981 in Waco, TX.  His was the second of three children to Betty Lewis-Ridge.  His passion for writing was developed at an early age by writing poetry and short story essays for competitions as a child.  In high school, he went on to become a contributing sports writer for the Connally High School Newspaper.  He was also a member of the state finalist One Act Play team and was an all district and all area award winner in basketball.  A Who’s Who Among American High School Students award winner, Terry graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors in 1999. 

Terry now attends the University of Texas at Arlington and is obtaining a bachelors degree in Business Communication with a focus on Public Relations and a minor in English.  In addition to preparing billing analysts reports for SuperMedia LLC., Terry also assists in managing and developing advertising proposals and public relations campaigns for both individuals and small businesses, and contributed sports stories to the Corsicana Daily Sun. 

Terry has always had a passion for writing and has dreamed for the opportunity to become a published author.  He hopes that by utilizing all of his current knowledge and combining it with his past experiences and hardships, that this will be his way to further pursue his dream of both entertaining and educating readers across the globe.  And also be able to use his writings to branch out into other forms of entertainment including both music and the film industry.
