This book contains the stories of four separate African American women, different but yet the same in many ways... the emotions, the way they handle the challenges of life through relationships with both God and man literally.

Growing up fast in the world and out of the will of God leads to many of the things each of the characters in the book experience personally.  It is through God that these women are able to overcome the trails put in their lives to reach success in the end.  The end result is each character finding themselves and who they are in Christ. I am almost certain that other women of many racial backgrounds can not only relate but in the process find inspiration to keep moving forward throughout each of the testimonies that are shared within.
