Description:
In
twenty-first century America, we like to believe that our justice system
upholds truth, and that our citizens are innocent until proven guilty.
We imagine that the people whom the court sees fit to imprison do, in
fact, deserve to be behind bars. Justice Denied eloquently and
passionately puts those naive beliefs and imaginations to rest. A mother
tells the unbelievable story of her son's fight for justice in the
California court and prison systems. We learn of the corrupt
prosecutors, heartless attorneys, uninformed and biased juries--and of
one life, cruelly snatched and caged. Justice Denied is a detailed story
about the failure of a system designed to bring out truth; but it is
also a story about strength: of spirit, of family, and of faith. Read
it, and be not only educated, humbled, and moved to tears; but also, be
inspired. |

About the Author:
As I sat in a California Court Room and watch my
son's life taken, not for anything he had done but because the State of
California is not a state of second chances especially if you happen to
be black. As my son was escorted out of the court room after being
framed by an LAPD Officer and his brother, a bailiff commented, "if you
don't think the State of California can take your life for no reason,
just ask this man, they just took his. This book is a labor of love for
my son. |

Where are the voices in the Black community. Our boys are bussed away
in the bus loads and all we do is just cheer! ... by George
After reading this book about a Mother's unconditional love in the
support of her son in an unjust circumstance . This Mother's love of all
her children shines through as you read about their constant support
during this travesty of justice. This book leaves you to wonder how
could this happen and what can be done to help him? This story isn't
finished yet and hopefully that will be the next edition to come out
soon.
